New Report: Sizing Up Shale Drilling's Impacts on 4 Counties in Ohio, Pa., W.Va.

The Multi-State Shale Research Collaborative set out to document the impacts of shale oil and gas drilling in four active drilling counties on local economic development and income, housing costs, traffic and infrastructure repairs, education and human services, emergency services, and other areas.

The case studies focus on Greene and Tioga counties in Pennsylvania, Carroll County in Ohio, and Wetzel County in West Virginia.
